I participated in a campaign on behalf of Millennial Central for Mrs. T’s Pierogies. I received a gift card to purchase get-together supplies to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
The culmination of four months’ worth of trash-talking, Sunday-afternoon-drinking, appetizer-eating, screaming-at-the-television beauty.
I. Love. It.
I mean, we can’t really call Sunday’s game a game per se, can we? Because I was under the impression that two teams have to show up to play a game. And in this case, only the Seahawks did. (Can you tell I’m still cranky?) However, the hubs and I celebrated the big game with our group of friends and it was awesome. We had a potluck-style table set up, and everyone made their favorite dish.
I sautéd a few boxes of Mrs. T’s Pierogies (I chose the potato and cheddar flavor!) with kielbasa and onions. They were a serious hit. (Plus, they only took a few minutes to prepare. Win.) There were some people there who loooooovvvveeee pierogies, and others who had never tried them. And both parties were beyond thrilled with the result. They were a perfect finger-food and a great addition to the party! Here are some of my favorite photos from the night:
Here’s the thing: I love a good pierogie. I keep boxes of Mrs. T’s pierogies in my freezer at all times. If you’ve read any of my previous dinner posts, you’ve probably noticed that pierogies are a frequent occurrence in my meal planning madness. They are also the best quick-meal idea and can be paired with lots of different flavors (read: whatever the heck I can find in my fridge). Some of my top Mrs. T’s partners-in-crime: kielbasa, bacon, avocado and mango salsa. It took me a while to convince the hubs of that last one. But I won eventually. Surprise.
So all-in-all, we had a great time, ate some great food and watched some terrible football. Two out of three ain’t bad, ammiright?
PS – Yes, this post has been sponsored, but the hubs & I eat Mrs. T’s Pierogies like they are going out of style. No lie.
